This year the top scorer in the Bundesliga will once again be Robert Lewandowski. The Pole leads the list again this year as first.
However, it won’t be quite as many goals as last year. Incidentally, Lewandowski has already scored 311 goals in the Bundesliga and is in second place, ahead of the likes of Klaus Fischer and Jupp Heynckes. Gerd Müller remains the sole record holder with 365 goals.

How many times has Robert Lewandowski been top scorer in the Bundesliga?
As mentioned above, this season is not the first time the Pole has been handed the top scorer cannon. For the first time he was able to win this trophy in the jersey of Borussia Dortmund. In the 2013/14 season he scored 20 goals. In the following season, Alex Meier won the title as the most prolific attacker, but in the 2015/16 season Lewandowski then scored 30 goals in a Bayern jersey and secured the cannon.
The following year he had to settle for second place again, but he was again in first place in 2017/18 with 29 goals. In the following years, only the Polish national player should win the top scorer cannon. In 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2020/21 Lewandowski was always honored at the end of the season. He scored the most goals last season, when he even surpassed Gerd Müller’s legendary record from the 1971/72 season with his 41 goals.
In total, Robert Lewandowski has already won the top scorer six times, so this season, in which he currently has 34 goals, is most likely the seventh time.
