“So this is Dieng, this is an accident on the way home. So this is an activity dilute, recreation to Dieng. Left last Saturday. The information from the bus residents wanted to be used again, so it was a bit rushed. It contains 25 Benowo residents,” he said.
Didik said that so far there have been 13 liang lahads prepared at the Benowo Islamic Cemetery, Surabaya to bury the victims who died as a result of the bus crash into the VMS pole.
“There are 13 buried here. Initially 14, but earlier one was buried in Gresik. So far, I have heard that 14 died,” said Didik at the Benowo Islamic Cemetery, Surabaya, Monday (16/5/2022).
Didik explained, all the victims who died came from Benowo Village. However, the RW is different. In RW 01 there were 3 people who died, in RW 02 there were 9 people who died, and in RW 04 there were 2 people who died.
“All of them are from Benowo sub-district, Pakal sub-district. There are 14 residents here, from RW 1, then RW 2, and RW 4. Most of the victims are from RW 2,” he explained.
For the citizens who died, Didik said there were three. Namely Asmina, Dedik Purnomo, and Vita. He added that, according to residents, the bus carrying the Benowo residents really wanted to be used again. Residents also suspect the bus was in a hurry.
