“Actually all the players are ready to play. But I will talk personally with them first to see how ready they are physically, technically, and especially mentally. Because this is a final which is not easy,” said Herry.
A similar comment was made by the men’s singles coach, Irwansyah. In the eyes of Irwansyah, all the singles players were in excellent condition even though the fight against Japan in the semifinals made the players tired.
“Ginting’s performance is also getting better. His confidence is also growing. This is a positive thing, especially since he was able to beat Momota yesterday,” said Irwansyah.
Team manager Hendro Santoso also stated that the Thomas Cup Indonesia team was ready to fight against India in the final.
