British punk star and actress Hazel Theresa O’Connor (66) excelled in the 1980s with several hit songs such as “Eighth Day” and “Will You?”. She also starred in the movie «Breaking Glass».
On Sunday, January 9, however, the 66-year-old was found in his own home in southwestern France, after what the family describes as a “serious medical incident”. She was immediately taken to hospital.
Laid in a coma
The singer suffered a brain haemorrhage as a result of the incident and was placed in an artificial coma for 24 hours.
Now, however, it looks brighter for O’Connor, who should have responded well to the treatment. Her brother Neil O’Connor also shared on social media that she has already regained some of her more “tougher” side that she usually has.

Further in the post he wrote the following:
“She is receiving the best care, and I thank the French medical service for taking such good care of her. So please, all positive thoughts, vibes and intentions are appreciated ».
“She will need patience from us and from herself,” the brother continues.
Had to postpone tour
According to the plan, O’Connor was to embark on a joint tour with singer Toyah Wilcox (63) later this year. It has now been postponed indefinitely.
The singer’s management described her as a “warrior”, while adding: “No one knows what progress Hazel will make or when”.
“You might think that Hazel should not have any appearances in the foreseeable future, well, yes, that could be the result, we just do not know,” they added.
