Hypoxia is a condition of lack of oxygen in the blood. The presence of signs of happy hypoxia in Covid-19 patients does not show clinical symptoms, such as shortness of breath. This condition is also known as silent hypoxia or apathetic hypoxia and can be fatal if left untreated.

A person who is hypoxic will experience damage to the nerves that deliver the tightness sensors to the brain.

On the other hand, the brain cannot respond to tightness, as a result, the patient feels no symptoms or does not appear short of breath.

Here are the symptoms that can appear when a person has happy hypoxia:

1. Symptoms of Covid-19 are increasing.
2. There is an increased or settled cough.
3. There are complaints of getting weaker and decreased consciousness.
4. The color of the lips or fingertips starts to turn bluish.
5. Oxygen saturation below normal (<95 percent).

If you experience complaints such as the five symptoms mentioned above, then immediately come to the hospital or seek help from health workers.
