Russian natural gas flows to European countries are gradually increasing in all directions.
Applications for the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine to Europe through the Slovak border crossing at Velke Kapusany rose on Monday to the highest level since the end of November last year. It is reported on May 2 Reuters with reference to the data of the Slovak operator TSO Eustream.
The data showed that nominations through Velké Kapušany totaled around 993,407 megawatt hours (MWh) per day today, the highest since November 30.
Russian gas flows to Germany via the Nord Stream 1 pipeline across the Baltic Sea were 73,778,201 kilowatt-hours (kWh) on Monday, compared to 72,286,105 kWh on Friday morning.
According to operator Gascade, the eastward flow rate to Poland at the Mallnow measurement point on the border with Germany was 13,202,832 kWh, which was almost unchanged from the figures observed at the end of last week.
Recall Russia’s gas production is falling. In April alone, this indicator fell by more than 5%, and in four months since the beginning of the year – by 0.4%.
