Eintracht Frankfurt make sure to qualify for the final Europa League after beating West Ham United 1-0. Frankfurt will meet Rangers FC in the final match.

Eintracht Frankfurt host West Ham United at Deutsche Bank Park in the Europa League semifinal second leg match, Friday (6/5/2022) early morning WIB. The hosts started the match with a 2-1 aggregate advantage thanks to the results in the first leg.

The Hammers’ efforts to catch up on aggregate became increasingly difficult after losing Aaron Cresswell in the 19th minute. Cresswell was sent off for fouling Jens Petter Hauge.

The referee initially gave a yellow card for Cresswell. However, after seeing VAR, the referee corrected his decision by immediately giving a red card. This is because Cresswell was the last man in the West Ham defense when he violated Hauge.

Frankfurt take advantage of the advantage of the number of players well. They can take the lead in the 26th minute.

Rangers went 2-0 up at half-time to goals from James Tavanier in the 18th minute and Glen Kamara in the 24th. In the second half, Christopher Nkunku managed to make up for Leipzig in the 70th minute. But John Lundstram’s goal in the 80th minute ensured Rangers won 3-1. Rangess lead 3-2 on aggregate.

The final match between Frankfurt vs Rangers will be presented on 19 May at the Ramon Sanchez Pijzuan.
