The controversy started when 6 of the 3 groups sent a letter to the Football Association requesting the rise of the first and second of each group for the Premier League.
Moataz Al-Batawi, General Supervisor of the Ball in Ceramica Cleopatra (leader – Cairo Group) revealed to FilGoal.com: “We sent an official letter to the Football Association with the rise of the first and second of each group, the abolition of relegation, and the work of the Premier League in the next season of two groups, each of 12 teams. Ashraf Nassar, head of the National Bank Club (the Upper Egypt group) agreed with Al-Batawi: “The Five-Year Committee must take exceptional decisions to compensate for the large spending of the top clubs.”
Mohamed Al-Wadhah, the general supervisor of the ball in the Club of Beni Suef (the leader of Upper Egypt) stressed that the decision to cancel the competition without landing or unfair rise for the clubs, and that his club is ready to complete the competition, even in the month of June, but in the event of cancellation, he supports what was proposed by the clubs Cleopatra and the National Bank as well as the Interior (Summer Cairo), Damanhour (a marine leader)
The demands of the six clubs faced severe objection from some other clubs, as Yasser Al-Kinani, the coach of the aluminum (third level, 3 points from the second place) said: “This is a rejected proposal, and injustice is for the clubs that occupy the third or fourth place. There are direct confrontations in the 5 rounds. The remaining order may change. My view is to complete the remaining rounds or cancel the competition as it was not, equality injustice is fair. “
Kamal Al-Zain, coach of the youth of Qena (fourth level), suggested that a session be held between the 4 leading clubs for each group and the rise of the champion of that combined session to the Premier League next season, while describing the leaderboard proposal as “clowning”.
Mohamed Salah, the general supervisor of the ball in Mansoura (the fourth nautical) said: “There are 5 rounds left that can be played in two weeks when the activity resumes. The suggestion of the first and second ascent is rejected because it does not serve the public interest but rather certain clubs.”
