After four nights of violence, calm has returned in the past few hours in Dijon, france. The clashes occurred after the arrival in the city of the dukes of many members of the chechen community who explained “seek revenge following the assault of one of their own”.
On Wednesday morning, the father of the first victim spoke in front of cameras BFM TV. He explained that his son was allegedly attacked last Wednesday after receiving a call for help from a friend. “During the night, around 1am, he received a call from his friend, an Albanian. He asked him to come and accompany her to the hospital. Two cars arrived and people with weapons. My son has been beaten with the butt on the head, he was beaten, he was kicked, especially on the face. And someone has put a gun in the mouth,” says Zelimkhan, 49 years old, installed in Dijon, france since 2014.

“I would like everyone to be calm”
