Brian D. O’Neill, member of the supervisory board of Erste Group, has passed away. This was announced by the domestic bank on New Year’s Eve. The American had been a member of the first board since May 2007. Most recently, he was in the management of US wealth adviser Lazard. “We will remember Brian as a great colleague and friend,” said Supervisory Board Chairman Friedrich Rödler.
O’Neill has always contributed his extensive knowledge and experience “and supported us with his keen understanding in many discussions and in important decisions for Erste Group”.
