Still relatively unknown to the general public, the endometriosis affects one in ten women of childbearing age and affects their daily lives. The survey EndoVie (1), the first of its kind, conducted in January 2020 by the association of patients EndoFrance, Ipsos and the laboratory of Gedeon Richter, revealed the difficulties that patients are facing.
The disease occurs early in the life of a woman, before age 20 in half of the cases. From the beginning of the disease, the symptoms are multiple : patients reported an average of 4.6 different symptoms.
