Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk announced today that the company will send additional ventilators to hospitals in need of the Covid-19 crisis.
Musk announced it through a publication on the social network Twitter.
“We have additional ventilators that have been approved by the FDA. We will send them to hospitals around the world in Tesla’s delivery regions,” said the company’s chief executive.

At the same time, Musk stated that fans will be donated, and pointed out the requirements for institutions to receive them.
“The device and shipping costs will be free. The only requirement is that ventilators be needed immediately for patients, not stored in a warehouse,” he said.
Musk ended the tweet by asking them to let him know through the platform of a hospital that the equipment needs.
