In the Instagram post where the Tigres del Licey team officially welcomed outfielder Magneuris Sierra, who came instead from the Toros del Este by infielder Marco Hernández, players Génesis Cabrera and Emilio Bonifacio had a discussion after the former commented “and I pa when”.
That comment from the major league pitcher it did not go down well in the eyes of the Blue Captain, who called his attention to the fact that these pronouncements should not be made on social networks.
“Very unethical, but I tell you something you have 2 options: 1- don’t pitch anymore. 2-call Audo (the current general manager of the team) or whoever you understand and not make a media show. Good health and may you continue to reap success”, Bonifacio put in the publication.
To which Cabrera replied. “Keep up the good work my brother and leave the other quiet that you are a player just like me, you don’t know why I put the comment to come talk M…”.
The comments of the fans did not wait and while some sought that the situation “stay there” others joined the debate agreeing with one or the other.
“Of course I’m a player just like you, that’s why I tell you and respect as simple as that, And if you think I’m talking sh*t, you’re right,” Bonifacio returned and replied.
