Juergen Klopp ask the FA to award the champions medal FA Cup addition to Liverpool. This is because not all players who appear in this event get a championship medal.
Liverpool won the 2021/2022 FA Cup title. This certainty was obtained after the Reds were able to beat Chelsea 6-5 on penalties in the final match which was held at Wembley Stadium, Saturday (14/5/2022) night WIB. The winner of this duel must be determined after a goalless 120 minutes.

But not all Liverpool players who appear in the FA Cup can get this championship medal. The reason is, the FA applies a rule that only 40 medals are given to players and staff of the winning team.
Manager Liverpool, Juergen Klopp, not very happy with this rule. He assessed that all players who competed in the FA Cup are entitled to win medals.
Klopp has fielded a total of 31 different players from the early stages to winning the FA Cup. Academy players such as Kaide Gordon, Conor Bradley, Max Woltman, James Norris and Melkamu Frauendorf were also given the opportunity.
Klopp has now asked the FA to award Liverpool an additional FA Cup winner’s medal. This German man previously also complained about the same thing when the Reds won Carabao Cup.
“Dear FA, please send some more medals. Every player deserves to have them – we discussed, maybe we can order more medals here in general,” Klopp was quoted as saying by Dailymail.
‘I don’t believe that the number of medals is limited, why did you do that? We realized we wanted to give medals to all the players and they said the coach couldn’t have them – what is this?
“It’s really a bit difficult. It’s not a good idea – the number of players is getting bigger but the number is still the same,” he explained.
