In the movie Rogue One from 2016 we briefly saw the return of Darth Vader and in the coming period we will get to see more of the Sith. The role will be played again by Hayden Christensen in Disney+’s next Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
“It’s a moment in the timeline that hasn’t really been explored yet, and I think Darth Vader’s character is at an interesting point in his life,” zei Christensen in gesprek met The Cutaway with William Mullally. “Looking at where we left him in Episode III.”
Personal hunt for the Jedi
“He’s trying to reconcile a bit with his past and hunt for the Jedi. Obviously, it’s his job and he has the Emperor’s mandate, but it’s more than that. It’s a personal mission for him,” the actor added.
Darth Vader returns first in Obi-Wan Kenobion May 27 on Disney+, and is also set to return in at least Ahsokaanother Star Wars series.
