In the past few days, superstar Neymar has had to face allegations of not adhering to the rules of self-isolation in the corona crisis.
The Brazilian rejected these allegations through his communications team. He lived “completely isolated” in his property in Brazil and was only accompanied by the people who had returned from France with him.
Neymar is currently not receiving visits. The only exception is his son Davi Lucca, who came into the house and stayed there with his father. The suspicion that Neymar may have disregarded the quarantine was triggered by photos he had published on the Internet. They showed him with companions on a volleyball field.
Volleyball players should also live with Neymar
However, the press release said that the photos, which were also distributed by the Spanish sports newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, showed Neymar together with people who had come with him from France to Brazil and lived in quarantine with him on his property. The 28-year-old who played at Paris Saint-Germain had returned to his home country after football operations in Europe ceased.
In quarantine, Neymar kept in shape under the guidance of his personal trainer Ricardo Rosa, said Neymar’s communications staff. The footballer longs for the end of “this sad moment for humanity” and the return to his professional activities as a footballer.
