In Funchal, between 6 pm yesterday, when IASAÚDE announced that Madeira had 34 positive Covid-19 cases, and at 00.00 today, there was, according to the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), an increase nine cases. In two days, therefore, Madeira accounted for almost double (19) of the cases that had been recorded since the confirmation of the first positive Covid-19.
DGS data, which continue to be inconsistent with those presented by the Madeira Health Authority, show an increase of 8 cases in Funchal, with 23 being infected. More than half of the total.
In Santa Cruz there are still two more cases to be registered, with four being infected in the municipality.
Câmara de Lobos has 6 and Ponta do Sol 5. Municipalities with records of less than 3 cases are not discriminated by the DGS.
