Corona incidence in the southwest continues to decline – Baden-Württemberg

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – The seven-day incidence of new corona infections has continued to decrease in the southwest in a multi-day comparison. As the State Health Office reported on Monday (as of 4:00 p.m.) in Stuttgart, 1,363.4 infections with the corona virus per 100,000 inhabitants were detected within a week.

On Friday the incidence was still 1523.6. The authority no longer publishes daily reports on weekends and public holidays. A week ago the incidence was 1746.2. However, the actual incidence is likely to be significantly higher due to the fact that the number of unreported cases is still high.

Compared to Friday, the Stuttgart authorities reported 35,384 new infections. The number of registered cases since the beginning of the pandemic has thus increased to 3,120,958. Proven 15,187 people died from the corona virus or related to it. Compared to Friday, there were 46 more people.
