Where everyone was talking about Kevin Durant, Bring young or Pat Beverley at the start of this tournament, it was a very different final that was offered to the most avid fans in Prime Time sure ESPN last night. After obtaining a record of 4 wins and 0 losses to reach this stage of the competition, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton found themselves in the final of the players’ tournament for a fratricidal duel. If ESPN had to achieve very good audience scores in Arizona, we can think that it is not really the opposition they dreamed of to snatch a few dollars during this health crisis, and in view of the economic crisis to come.
Quite ironically, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton have represented the Suns on national air more in the space of 10 days behind controllers, than their Phoenix Suns throughout the season, they who are never diffused for want of being a bigger market . In a franchise that has not known the playoffs since 2010, we celebrate everything we can celebrate and many fans have hung their banner of “ Phoenix Suns 2020 NBA Champions ” the second or the poster of the final was known. Fridge, wall or sofa, the choice was wide. You just have to wait until the end of the confinement to see the Suns hang a beautiful banner at the top of the Talking Stick Resort Arena. The most livid humor basketball players will say that the Suns are good NBA2K because they have all the time to train when the time for the playoffs has sounded in normal times.
But these jokes worthy of CE2, Deandre Ayton and Devin Booker did not have much to do last night. Even better, they took advantage of this tournament to show the team spirit that reigns in Phoenix. We learn what we can from this tournament. For example, Deandre Ayton has once again proven his love for the Suns, as the only player to use this team in the tournament despite the low scores attributed to his teammates. In the semi-final against Pat Beverley, he chose Phoenix to humiliate the man who is cited among the best NBA trashtalkers. The formula was successful. Throughout the match, Ayton was very pleased to distribute the three points with Jevon Carter, Dario Saric or even … himself! Pat Beverley had only his eyes to cry and his ears to listen to Deandre Ayton shouting at him what wood warms his Valley Boyz.

But beyond this primary trashtalking that made us smile, another sequence caught our attention. During an innocuous sequence, Deandre Ayton found himself taking a suspension shot 3 meters where access to the circle was completely open for his own player whom he controlled. Frustrated at not seeing his virtual Ayton not going to dunk, the big man of the Suns exclaims: ” DA why are you taking this shot? I’m not taking these shots! ” In the opposing camp, Pat Beverley needed no more to drop a “Of course you do!”.
“Cmon DA why are you shooting that? I don’t shoot that!”
“Yes you do”

A truth is hidden behind this funny passage. Pat Beverley does not lie, Ayton spends his time doing a. Suns fans can testify, these forced mid-range shots are the most frustrating point in Deandre Ayton’s game today. The Bahamen is still too shy when it comes to defying his adversary at the low power position, where he has all the physical qualities to do so with the greatest ease. In Arizona, there is only hope that Monty Williams took advantage of the sequence to send a little message to Deandre Ayton reminding him to work on this aspect of his game. Create an analysis from NBA2K20, who would have thought so. Pat Beverley was no longer in the mood to analyze everything after the game, he offered us his best bonus.

Deandre Ayton is not the only Phoenix Suns player to show last night. Quite the contrary, Devin Booker enjoyed us just as much. We will not bring you out all the isolated sequences where the All-Star trashtalk its adversaries as they are numerous. However, there was a moment that gave us the best sequence of the tournament. Remember last summer, a very sad polemic broke out because of Joakim Noah and its silly training methods. We then heard everywhere that Devin Booker did not like taking two. A policy rather representative of the knowledge of fans random on the Phoenix Suns. For several seasons, Booker has been the NBA player with the most hits two. He learned to avoid them like an artist, slamming his best performances when the opponent made the mistake of focusing only on him in defense. During a sequence in the final against Ayton last night, Devin Booker had a great response to bring his haters. The random fan and his old Twitter account will appreciate it.

To conclude, Devin Booker therefore won this NBA2K tournament and the 100,000 dollars offered by associations fighting the Covid-19. More so, he showed all of his haters that he was not the type to be walked on. He was also the best betrayer in this tournament while Pat Beverley is still trying to fix his controller. His humiliation of Montrezl Harrell in the semi-finals with his own Clippers was also splendid with a Booker spending his time repeating: ” You should know them man! You spend your time training with them! ”. Thanks for this moment Devin Booker, the Suns are champions.
