American atmosphere on Usedom: Four months before the Usedom Music Festival, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra is making a guest appearance on the island this week. Visitors can experience the orchestra live from Friday to Tuesday at a total of five concerts. The organizer announced that it was the orchestra’s first foreign tour since 2019. The five-day residency should set an example for freedom, peace and diversity. The series starts on Friday with a concert at the Peenemünde power station. The program includes Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5.
