Canco Rodríguez: “Being an actor, you learn to live with the anxiety of knowing that your projects have a deadline”

‘Rock and Roll is dead’ is a journey through the history of this musical genre to disprove this cliché that comes to light when a generation talks about the music that precedes it. «It is one of the most false lapidary phrases that is repeated. As you get older, that phrase gets into your vocabulary, young people always see rock alive and many older people believe that rock dies when what is ‘dying’ are them, “says this renowned actor in an interview with leonoticias.

This show is a curious funeral that allows us to say goodbye to the most important musical fever of the last century, a «project that is a gift that I made to myself, I have put on the show that I always wanted to see as a spectator », Canco Rodríguez points out.

With funny videos, unusual photographs and incredible anecdotes, Canco leads the viewer by the hand from 1950 to 2020, decade by decade, not only to talk about music, but also about his own personal life as an actor because music is something that has not only marked his life but also his day to day. «Music plays all day and depending on the state of mind I am in, one thing or another sounds, ”explains Rodríguez.
