The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine announced that Belarusian troops have crossed the Ukrainian border in the Chernihiv region.

Meanwhile, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was quoted as saying by Reuters his country has additional forces along its border with Ukraine.
