In Stargard, the monument to the victims of the Smolensk catastrophe was desecrated – informs TVP3 Szczecin. Unknown perpetrators overturned one of the stone pots. The view is shocking.

The police were notified by PiS MP Michał Jach.
Ok. 19 I received a call that the monument was desecrated. I got in the car, arrived, notified the police. It turned out that the rascals, the bandit turned over one of the flower vases. In fact, it did not fall over, because this vase was manually moved, the right side of the monument was buried.

The politician emphasized that the traces left indicate that the perpetrators acted deliberately.
Earlier, the flowers and candles were moved to the end of the monument, so that you can see that these people worked there for a while, that it wasn’t like someone kicked … Moved, poured, the candles were scattered on the grass

Police: We set the circumstances
We determine the circumstances in which the pot standing at the monument to the victims of the Smolensk catastrophe was overturned – Commissioner Krzysztof Wojsznarowicz from the Stargard police told PAP on Saturday evening. He added that officers received a notification regarding this matter.
When asked about the details, Wojsznarowicz said that the police did not provide more information in this case.
On Friday during a visit to Stargard, Sejm Marshal Elżbieta Witek laid flowers at the monument.
The monument commemorating the victims of the Smolensk catastrophe is located at ul. Presidents of the Republic of Poland Lech Kaczyński and Ryszard Kaczorowski. It was dedicated in January 2014.
