A panoramic view of Central Park, a lobby perched on the 14th floor, a century-old building emblematic of the city… Everything in the Aman New York invites contemplation. Particularly awaited, this new address follows l’Amangiri in Utah – famous for its pool carved into rock – and at the Amangani in Wyoming. In addition to the 2300 square meter spa with indoor swimming pool, the jazz club, the terrace (650 square meters), a Japanese restaurant inspired by omakase and an Italian table, the hotel reveals rooms with muted tones. Designed by architect Jean-Michel Gathy (Denniston firm) as minimalist sanctuaries, the suites are decorated with murals by artist Ryoko Adachi, who transforms rice paper into a mural masterpiece. The combination of all-over bay windows and fireplaces creates an atmosphere specific to the address.
The Aman group should continue its expansion in the United States with the opening of a new address in Miami, during 2024.
