Yesterday in Las Vegas, Nevada was held the 64th ceremony of the most prestigious music awards – “Grammy”.

The ceremony was postponed in January due to the spread of the Covid-19 Omicron.

During the ceremony via video message Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also joined.

The award for best pop duet / group went to the duo Kiss Me More (Doja Cat and SZA)

The statuette for best new artist went to Olivia Rodrigo, and this was not her only award tonight. She won the award for Best Pop Album and Best Solo Pop Performance.

The song of the year is Leave the Door Open by the duo Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak – Silk Sonic. They opened the ceremony.

Foo Fighters won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. The band did not appear at the ceremony, as a little over a week ago its drummer Taylor Hawkins died suddenly.

The award for best music video went to Freedom by Jon Batiste, Alan Ferguson, Alex P. Willson

John Batiste also won the album of the year award for “We Are” – a triumph for jazz and R&B artist with less worldwide recognition than his fellow pop stars.

Surprisingly, among the winners of the statuette was a Bulgarian woman. Bulgarian composer Penka Kuneva won a Grammy Award for her album, Women Warriors – The Voices of Change.
