Muhammad Jamal Al-Garhi, a member of Al-Ahly’s board of directors, praised the statements of Mahmoud Taher, the former president of the Red Fort, who praised the presentations of the current council led by Mahmoud Al-Khatib
Al-Garhi wrote through his personal account on the Facebook site: “Mahmoud Al-Khatib is a symbol and value … and whoever loves Al-Ahly supports to the end … simple words with great meanings made by the engineer Mahmoud Taher, the former president of Al-Ahly, and these words are not strange to the children of Al-Ahly and its officials.”
Al-Ahly board member added: “This is the prestigious Al-Ahly Club School which we are proud to belong to … Al-Ahly is not.”
Mahmoud Taher had assumed the presidency of Al-Ahly from 2014 until 2018, before losing to Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the current president.
