In December 2019, the 53-year-old met a man on a voice app who posed as “DAVIDSON Anthony” from Florida. The killer said he worked on an oil rig in Florida and also sent the woman a photo of him and his passport.
After longer contact and the pretense of great love, the stranger stated that he wanted to visit the 53-year-old in Austria. To do this, however, she had to transfer money to him. The victim transferred a total of 6100 euros to a Greek account.
