Half-Life, one of the cult FPS licenses that will have revolutionized the genre when it was released. But after the release of Half-Life 2, radio silence from its developer, Valve. For a very long time, Half-Life 3 was a recurring joke among players, always hoping for as much ad. And it will have taken years before a new game of the license was released, called Half-Life Alyx. It is possible to play Half-Life Alyx without virtual reality headset thanks to a mod. A practical mod but which takes all the interest of a title entirely thought for VR, as confided by a developer of Valve recently.
Because even if the players were happy to get my hands on a Half-Life game again, some were mixed about l’obligation to equip yourself with a virtual reality headset. Without forgetting that with this technology, a large configuration must be present!
