Making its debut on the new Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C from Xiaomi, MediaTek has made its new commitment to the low-end official. We talk about MediaTek Helio G25 and MediaTek Helio G35, two new processors that will take the cheapest smartphones to another level.
As a great novelty, these new MediaTek processors have been manufactured in 12nm, incorporating for the first time in such an economical chipset the game engine HyperEngine and support for multiple cameras.
For its part, the MediaTek Helio G25 has a total of 8 núcleos a 2GHz, combining with a GPU PowerVR GE8320. This has support for a single 21MP camera or a dual 13MP + 8MP combination.

Likewise, the MediaTek Helio G25 supports screens of a maximum resolution of 1,600 × 720, 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, eMMC 5.1 flash memory, WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. Some fairly modest features that have finally given life to the Xiaomi Redmi 9A.

The Chinese manufacturer has also presented its new MediaTek Helio G35, in this case a 8 núcleos a 2.3GHz characterized by its somewhat more powerful GPU than that of the Helio G25 and its support for FHD + resolution screensthat is, up to 2,400 × 1,080 pixels.
From the rest, the MediaTek Helio G35 adds support for a single 25MP camera or a dual 13MP + 8MP system, as well as support for WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 flash storage.
In short, two low-end processors that are rather in the mid-range that we could see a few years ago. An increase in power at a low cost from which the new Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C from Xiaomi will benefit, among others.
