The Walking Dead: This key scene between Carl and Negan had to be much more impactful

The wait continues again and again until the broadcast of episode 16 of season 10 of The Walking Dead on OCS, and to wait a little more easily we look at new revelations about past seasons. Director Rosemary Rodriguez recently returned to an episode of season 7, when Carl enters the Saviors camp. Young Grimes then enjoys a guided tour of the community alongside Negan who proudly shows him what he has built. In the comics, Negan then introduces his women, who only wear lingerie, telling Carl to enjoy the view.

In the series, Rosemary Rodriguez also wanted to make the actresses wear a little outfit that would have violently contrasted with what we could see in the 10 seasons of The Walking Dead. All the characters wear practical and practical clothing in which they can easily move. For the director, it would have been all the more shocking to see Negan’s women in lingerie. But that obviously posed problem on the side of the sexualization of characters in front of a minor, not to mention the forced – or rape – implied relationship. Rosemary Rodriguez therefore folded in front of Scott Gimple not to make this scene even more controversial with the fans.
