After releasing dark mode or dark mode in Messenger last year, Facebook has now released the eye-friendly feature on the Facebook application for smartphones.
It’s quite surprising because Facebook’s main application is the latter that gets the features that many people have been waiting for. Previously, dark mode appeared first on the Facebook Lite application in February.
In addition to Messenger, other applications that are under its aegis also already have dark mode features, namely Instagram and WhatsApp.
The appearance of dark mode on the Facebook application was reported by a user through his Twitter account @NotFridayCraig. He showed a screenshot of dark mode display on Facebook for iOS.
When asked for comments regarding the presence of this feature, Facebook confirmed that the new settings for dark mode in the Facebook application are being rolled out gradually until they are available to all users.
But as quoted from XDA Developer, Facebook does not say how long it will take to release this function globally. It is also unknown when dark mode on Facebook is present on Android smartphones.
If your Facebook isn’t able to bring up the dark mode option, you try to update the application first. If not yet, it means that your region or device still has to be patient waiting for its availability.
