Christmas sales ensure record numbers for iPhone group

The iPhone revenues grow again after longer declines – and Apple can report record numbers again. The Apple Watch and AirPods earphones also sold strongly at Christmas. The corona virus affects the supply chain – but to a limited extent.

Apple has overcome the weakness in the iPhone business and ended the past Christmas season with record numbers. Quarterly earnings reached $ 22.2 billion, after nearly $ 20 billion a year earlier. Revenue increased nine percent year over year to $ 91.8 billion.
