CEO at ING Belgium closes unexpectedly door | Financial

Van Den Eynden was head of ING Belgium for three years. In a response, the outgoing CEO said he was ready for a new challenge. The financial director Hans De Munck will take over from October 1 until a replacement is found at ING Belgium.

Today is the first official working day of Steven van Rijswijk as the top boss at the ING Group. Until Monday, Van Rijswijk was ultimately responsible for risk assessments within the board of the financial service provider.

The Dutchman has been employed by ING since 1995, where he worked for the mergers and acquisitions and capital markets departments. In 2017, he was appointed as a member of the ING board.
