The Brussels fire brigade was called up yesterday afternoon for a remarkable intervention. On a playground in Anderlecht, a 7-year-old girl got stuck in a swing for toddlers. “We were called in around 1 pm because a 7-year-old girl was trapped with her legs in a swing, a kind of leather trouser swing where the children are trapped in so that they cannot fall out,” says Walter Derieuw of the Brussels fire brigade.
