Blaugrana talented young defender is likely to join the Premier League giants.
Marc Jurado has confirmed his departure from Barcelona on social media, amid rumors of a move to Manchester United.
Jurado spent the last nine years penetrating the La Masia academy and got an offer to extend his stay at the club earlier this summer.
However, the 16-year-old defender chose not to set his future at Camp Nou, with United reportedly going to secure his services by compensating £ 1.3 million to Barcelona.
Jurado wrote a message to his followers on Instagram to explain his decision, while thanking Barcelona for giving him the stage to start a football career.
He said: “It has never been easy to leave the team that has given you everything. FC Barcelona has become my second home, my second family, where I have grown as a player and personally.”
“Today is the time to say goodbye, but not before thanking everyone who helped me since I started in prebenjamín oada 2011.”

Jurado is a regular player in the Barcelona Cadet A team this 2019/20 season, and is being prepared to go up to Juvenil B.
