Arctic releases Freezer 13X processor coolers from 23 euros – Computer – News

Arctic has released some new processor coolers. These are four Arctic Freezer 13X coolers. The company distributes the products under the A13X and i13X denominators, which are suitable for AMD and Intel sockets, respectively.

In total, the Swiss company brings four Freezer 13X coolers from. This concerns a regular 13X and a 13X CO variant. The difference is in the fan. The regular 13X has a white 92mm fan with fluid bearing, while the 13X CO gets a gray 92mm fan with double ball bearing. The coolers are equipped with a black plastic cover, which hides the cooling fins.

The 13X coolers feature three copper heat pipes and come with pre-applied MX-2 thermal paste. The coolers are, according to Arctic, suitable for cooling CPUs with a tdp of up to 150W. According to the company, the new coolers are slightly more efficient than the previous Arctic Freezer 13 coolers. Also, the included fans should be quieter than the current Freezer 13 coolers.

The AMD variants are only compatible with socket AM4, while the Intel models can handle all that company’s recent sockets. The coolers are 137mm high, 109mm wide and 86mm deep. According to Arctic, the coolers are available immediately, although the coolers are not yet available in Dutch webshops at the time of writing. The A13X and A13X CO cost 23 and 25 euros respectively. The i13X and i13X CO cost 24 and 26 euros.
