New York firefighters were mobilized for an intervention on 58th Avenue.
A fire broke out at the intersection of West 100th and 58th Street, in a penthouse on the 16th floor of a building, then escalated to the 17th floor.
More than a hundred firefighters responded to the intervention. The intervention was declared a major fire and a three-alarm fire.
Two firefighters evacuated to hospital with minor injuries.
