LG Innotek announced on the 5th that it received the ‘$10 Billion Export Tower’ award on the 60th Trade Day.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea International Trade Association hold an awards ceremony to commemorate Trade Day every year on December 5 to recognize companies that have pioneered overseas markets and contributed to improving national export competitiveness.
At the awards ceremony held on this day under the theme of ’60 years of export and import, Korea on the rise again’, LG Innotek received the $10 billion export tower. LG Innotek CEO Moon Hyuk-soo personally received the $10 billion export tower from President Yoon Seok-yeol, who attended the awards ceremony.
Founded in 1970, LG Innotek has continued to develop cutting-edge innovative materials and components related to optical solutions, substrate materials, and electronic components, and has grown into a leading company in the global market. The company won the $5 billion export tower in 2014.
