[전국]Cocaine detected in the amount of 1 million doses in a vessel arriving at Busan Port

An amount of drugs that could be administered by one million people at the same time was detected on a foreign national ship arriving at Busan Port.

The Namhae Regional Maritime Police Agency discovered and confiscated 35 kg of cocaine worth 15 billion won in a Liberian container ship that entered the Busan New Port on January 19th.

35 kg of cocaine can be administered by a million people at the same time.

The Coast Guard has been tracking the ship with the shipping company after receiving reports that cocaine was hidden on this ship departing from Colombia in South America and entering Korea via the Panama Canal.

The Coast Guard is tracking whether 24 sailors from 4 countries, including Russia, participated in the import and distribution channels.

There were no Korean sailors on this ship.

Cocaine was packaged in units of 1 kg, divided into 35 boxes, and covered with scorpion-patterned wrapping paper, the pattern of the Colombian drug organization.

This ship is a liner that travels between the United States, Colombia, Panama, and Korea, and between China.
