Currently, 1,004 hospitals and clinics nationwide, including 26 general hospitals, are participating as medical data providers. In 2025, 1,263 hospitals and clinics, including all 47 general hospitals nationwide, are scheduled to participate as medical data providers.
Min-seop Yeom, Director of the Korea Health and Medical Information Service, said, “The ‘My Health Record’ app has established itself as an essential app for preventive health management by continuously promoting the expansion of medical data providers and the advancement of functions,” and added, “The Korea Health and Medical Information Service will continue to provide health and medical services.” “We will strive to contribute to improving public health through informatization,” he said.
The 2024 Government Innovation Competition, hosted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, is a competition held to discover and disseminate excellent government-wide innovation cases. Of a total of 647 cases submitted by central ministries, local governments, and public institutions, 41 made it to the finals after review by experts and a referendum.
