Epic Games Korea (CEO Park Seong-cheol), the Korean subsidiary of Epic Games, is launching a new game <포트나이트 페스티벌(Fortnite Festival)>announced that it was released through Fortnite on the 9th (Eastern US time).

<포트나이트 페스티벌>is a music and rhythm game produced by Harmonix, the developer of the ‘Guitar Hero’ and ‘Rock Band’ series. Players can play the soundtrack of world-famous hits spanning the ages with a variety of instruments such as guitar, keytar, bass, drums, and vocals, and provide a ‘main stage’ and a ‘jam stage’.

On the ‘Main Stage’, you can play solo or with a band of up to four people, including lead (guitar or keytar), drums, vocals, and bass. As you play notes at the correct timing, the star bar fills up, and you can receive up to 5 stars per song.

A jam track is a song that can be played at the Fortnite Festival, and a basic jam track that can be played for free for a limited time is always provided. You can also play the jam tracks of players in your party together or purchase them through the Festival Season Pass or the Fortnite store. Currently, ‘OG (Future Remix)’ and ‘Let’s Show Our Skills’, which can be played in the Fortnite waiting room, are provided as waiting room tracks.

In the ‘Jam Stage’, you can create new mixes with players. Adjust the tempo, key, and major/minor of a selected jam track, or play lead, drum, vocal, and bass loops from up to four different jam tracks simultaneously.

Meanwhile, <포트나이트 페스티벌> With the release, new types of storage items ‘Musical Instrument’ and ‘Aura’ were added to Fortnite. The instruments are divided into guitar, keytar, drum, microphone, and bass, and the aura has the effect of surrounding the player playing on the main stage. Like jam tracks, instruments and auras can be purchased through the festival season pass or in the store.

In addition, along with the release, ‘Season 1 Opening Night’ will be held until February 22nd (Eastern US time) next year. The season’s featured icon is the multi-award-winning artist ‘The Weeknd’, and if you upgrade the festival season pass, which has a structure similar to Fortnite’s battle pass, to premium, you can get additional rewards, including The Weeknd costume. Each season pass adds a new artist as a headliner, and you will receive special rewards when you play.
