Former President Park Geun-hye, who was conclusively judged in the case of repayment of the Kookjeong Nongdan and the National Intelligence Service’s special activity expenses, the prosecution began the procedure for collecting fines and additional surcharges.
The Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office sent a payment order to former President Park, who was imprisoned in the Seoul Detention Center, to pay a fine of 18 billion won and an additional 3.5 billion won.
If former President Park does not make payment within 15 days, a payment order will be sent to him to pay again within 15 days. If payment is not made within 30 days after the sentence is confirmed, enforcement will begin.
