A report came in that the head of a local agricultural cooperative in Incheon routinely harassed female employees.
At the dinner, the union boss was caught holding female employees’ hands and hugging their shoulders.

The union leader, Mr. Hong, puts his hand on employee A’s shoulder.
Mr A tries to shake him off, but sometimes wraps his arms around him and hugs him.
Prior to this, the union leader held another employee’s hand during dinner.
Mr A testified that he experienced a similar thing last year when he went to the union president’s office to greet his reinstatement.

I went to ask for an explanation, but was unable to meet Mr. Hong, the union leader.

Mr. Hong, who belatedly called YTN reporters, said he could not remember at all why he was very drunk at the time, but if he did, he apologized to the victim.
He also explained that he only sat in the seat prepared by the staff and that he had never intentionally sat side by side with a female staff member.
The police, who have received reports from the victims, plan to name Hong soon as a suspect to investigate the incident.
