Over 100 million cumulative confirmed cases worldwide
About 13 months after reporting’first infected’ in Wuhan, China
Confirmed cases in the US account for a quarter of the total

The cumulative number of corona19 cases around the world has finally exceeded 100 million.
It has been only 13 months since the first cases of infection were reported in Wuhan, China.
Fortunately, we succeeded in developing a vaccine in the shortest time in human history, raising expectations for the conquest of Corona 19, but we are facing a series of difficulties and are continuing a difficult fight.
This is a report by Park Sang-nam reporter.

According to the international statistics site World Omometer, the cumulative number of corona19 worldwide on the early morning of the 26th Korean time exceeded 100 million.
It took less than 13 months since the first report of an infected person to the international community on December 31, 2019.
Considering that the world’s population is close to 8 billion, about 1 in 80 people are infected.
By country, the United States occupied a quarter of 25.73 million people.
India, Brazil, and Russia are followed.
The cumulative death toll exceeded 2.144,000.
Again, the United States had the largest number with 429,000.
The vaccination, which had been waiting for more than a year, began in earnest in more than 50 countries around the world, starting with the UK on the 8th.
However, the vaccination, which seemed to be going smoothly, was shortly followed by a brake.
This is because the supply of supply, which is too short of demand, has stepped back.

To make matters worse, the situation got worse with the emergence of a mutant virus, which is known to be more contagious and more fatal.

The’speed battle’ of vaccination along with thorough quarantine is the most important point, but many adverse conditions overlap and we are continuing a tough fight against Corona 19.
In particular, there is growing concern that the achievement of global “collective immunity” may be delayed for a considerable period due to the imbalance in vaccine supply among countries.
