Which area in China is currently most severely infected?

Compared to other countries, the number of infected people is small, but Shenyang City in Liaoning Province is currently the most tense.

Shenyang City is a province in Liaoning Province, and more than 20 confirmed cases have been reported in the last 10 days, and the state of quarantine war has been declared on the 30th of last month.

The state of war does not mean that the military is mobilized, it means that quarantine is put at the top of the administration and resources and supplies are mobilized.

The authorities of Shenyang City have thus blocked residential areas for 100,000 citizens and have virtually banned everyday going out.

In addition, 90,000 people classified as close contacts with the confirmed case are in quarantine.

Shenyang City has also designated 11 small areas as medium-risk areas.

In these areas, many public places except those selling daily necessities were closed, and two subway stations were closed.

Chinese media are reporting that the infection in Shenyang began with a Chinese woman who arrived from South Korea last month.

In the capital city of Beijing, cases of infection by call-in vehicle drivers have been reported, and more than 50 close contacts are now being quarantined and medically observed.

In China, about 20 infected people have been reported a day since the end of last year, and the area is gradually expanding.

In the meantime, mainland confirmed cases, excluding foreign inflows, mainly occurred in Beijing, Dalian, and Shenyang.

But yesterday, there were one in Hebei Province around Beijing and four in Heilongjiang Province in the north.

It was said that China will be vaccinated in earnest in the new year, but what about Beijing there?

Vaccinations have officially started in Beijing, the capital city, and Shandong Province, which has a population of about 100 million, starting on the first day of the new year.

The state-run CCTV said these areas are scheduled to complete vaccinations for high-risk groups in the middle of next month.

Specifically, low-temperature food workers, quarantine officers, medical staff, etc. are the targets, and the general public is not accepted.

First, in the middle of this month, the first vaccination is given, followed by the second vaccination 2 to 4 weeks later so that antibodies are formed.

Chinese health authorities also revealed that the target age is 18 to 59 years old, and even high-risk groups do not receive vaccinations if they are 60 years old or younger.

In addition, since vaccines do not guarantee 100% antibody formation, it is recommended to continue wearing a mask or washing hands after vaccination.

Chinese authorities say they have already vaccinated 3 million high-risk groups in the mid- to late-month span of the 15th.

In order to prevent the re-proliferation of Corona 19 in winter, the policy is to complete vaccinations for high-risk groups until the next Lunar New Year holidays.
