U.S. President-elect Joe Biden has been encouraging, with the Georgian runoff victory over the Senate majority.
In a statement on the 6th at local time, Biden said he was congratulating the victory of Georgia’s Democratic Senate candidates Rafael Warnock and John Osoff.
Biden said, “I congratulate Warnock on his epoch-making victory last night, and I am hopeful that Osov will also win once the counting is complete.”
Unlike Warnock, where the election was confirmed, Osoff appeared to have made a statement as if trying to pinpoint the Democratic Party’s victory with the counting of the ballots underway due to the superiority of competition.
President-elect Biden stressed the role of Congress, saying that he was sending a message that he wants immediate action on the crisis facing Georgia’s voters, including Corona 19 and economic stimulus measures.
In addition, many of the nominees for the cabinet so far have been approved by the Senate in the past and have called on Congress to cooperate so that they can start working as soon as possible right after the inauguration ceremony.
