A study found that 6 out of 10 patients who were hospitalized for Corona 19 experience symptoms such as fatigue even after 6 months.

Researchers including Binkao, a senior researcher at the National Respiratory Hospital of China, revealed that this was the result of an investigation of 1,733 corona19 patients who had been hospitalized at Jinintan Hospital in Wuhan from January to May of last year between June 16 and September 3.

According to the researchers, the patients surveyed had an average age of 57 years, and the sex ratio was 52% for men and 48% for women.

The researchers conducted a questionnaire and physical examination to them, and 63% of them complained of fatigue and muscle weakness, 26% had sleep problems, and 11% had an abnormal sense of smell.

On the mental side, 27% reported pain and discomfort, and 23% reported anxiety and depression.

In this study, it was also found that the neutralizing antibodies to neutralize the corona 19 virus rapidly decrease over time.

According to the results of blood tests of 93 patients, the level of neutralizing antibodies decreased by an average of 53% compared to the acute phase.

The results of the study were published on January 8 in the world-class medical journal Lancet.
