[국제]18 million people in two cities in Hebei, China.

Xingtai City and Chairman Shih of Hebei Province, China, where the outbreak of Corona 19 continues to occur, issued a one-week ban on local residents.

The Shijiazhuang quarantine authorities said yesterday at a press conference that all residents had been tested for nucleic acids, and residents were banned from moving and meetings and staying at home for effective quarantine for the next week.

From this morning, the subway has also been shut down.

Like Shijiazhuang City, Xingtai Province, all residents have been made to stay home for one week.

The resident population alone is 11 million in Shijiazhuang City and 7.4 million in Xingtai City, and the population of the two regions is 18 million.

Hebei Provincial Deputy Chief Executive Xu Jianfei said all towns and complexes in Shijiazhuang and Xingtai Nangong City are closed and managed, and except under special circumstances, they can only enter and cannot exit.

China’s Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chun-lan urged the immediate suppression of the spread of the virus after inspecting sites such as the Xiao Guojiang village in Shijiazhuang where corona19 patients were concentrated.

The cumulative number of infections in Shijiazhuang has surpassed 300 within a few days.

The total number of confirmed cases in mainland China that occurred one day yesterday was 17, of which 14 were from Hebei and three from Liaoning.
