NEXCO EAST Nagano Management Office (Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture) provides information boards and A nighttime curfew will be imposed to accompany the demolition of the gate pillars.
We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time to spare when going out.

1. Curfew section and date

3. Transfer adjustment due to curfew

For customers who exit the expressway due to traffic suspension, bypass the suspended section, re-enter, and transfer in the forward direction, “transfer adjustment” will be implemented to adjust the toll fee according to the section used. (Appendix-2[PDF:270KB] reference)

ETC’s customers

• Customers using ETC are requested to drive wirelessly on designated outflow ICs and also wirelessly drive on re-inflow ICs. (“Succession certificate” is not issued for ETC cars)
• ETC time slot discounts are applied to trips that have been transferred.
  Additionally, because toll fees are adjusted at the time of billing, they may differ from the fare indicator at the toll booth.
• Pass through the toll gate ETC lane by inserting the same ETC card throughout the entire process.

Customers with cash, etc.

• Customers who pay in cash, etc., receive a “Succession Certificate” at the designated outflow IC, then receive a “Ticket of Pass” at the re-inflow IC, and then hand over the “Succession Certificate” and “Ticket” at the toll booth where they first pay the fee.

4. Construction overview

Between the Nagano Expressway Uplink Tunnel IC and the Majeok IC, work will be carried out to remove information boards and gate-shaped pillars in order to update equipment due to aging. Since this demolition work cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to conduct the work with traffic closed. Therefore, in order to cause as little inconvenience to customers as possible, we impose a curfew on weekday nights when traffic is low, and work is carried out intensively and efficiently. This is necessary work to use the expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

5. How to get traffic information
