▷ The Realme Pad would arrive in Europe with the powerful SD870 chip! »ERdC

The Realme Pad was launched in early September as the company’s first tablet. The device was aimed at a very affordable segment in the mid-range. For now, the tablet has remained an exclusive for the Indian market.

Now, new leaks hint that the Realme Pad will make its arrival on the European market. In addition to the above, the global or international version of the Realme Pad would point to a very different segment. In fact, it would be a powerful rival for the successful Xiaomi Pad 5.

The Europe version of the Realme Pad would equip the Snapdragon 870 chipset

The source of the leak is the informant @_snoopytech_ through your account at Twitter. According to what it reveals in its post, the Realme Pad will be launched in the European market soon.

The most important point would be that this variant of the Realme Pad would be powered by a powerful Snapdragon 870 chipset from Qualcomm. In comparison, the original version makes use of MediaTek’s much more humble Helio G80 chip.

But, curiously, although it would enjoy a very high-level chipset, its hardware would be completed with only 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Anyway, the leaker points out that the tablet will have support for storage expansion through MicroSD cards.

The rest of the characteristics would remain

The rest of the specifications of the Realme Pad would be the same that we already saw in the original launch. This means that it would sport a 10.4-inch IPS LCD screen with WUXGA + resolution (2,000 × 1,200 pixels) and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

Due to the change of chipset to a much higher level, now the format of its internal storage would change to UFS 3.1. On the other hand, your RAM would keep the LPDDR4X format. Internally, it would be powered by a 7,100 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging through its USB-C port.

Both the back and the front of the Realme Pad incorporate 8MP sensors for occasional photos and video calls. The design of the tablet would be exactly the same, also maintaining its weight of 440 grams.

Other elements include a system of four speakers distributed throughout its body, support for the Dolby Atmos sound enhancement system and it would run the Android 11 operating system under the Realme UI for Pad custom layer, with features designed to take better advantage of the format of its big screen.
